About the work:

Based on the popular photograph by Chiat Day for Apple Computer's "Think Different" campaign, nationally recognized illustrator Felix Sockwell lent his simple design style to Jim Ales at AIGA National for this poster about originality. Measuring 16"x20", Rand's likeness is captured boldly in line and color—two of his favorite and most used form elements.

It is offered here in a limited edition run of prints, signed and numbered by the artist. HUGE thanks go out to Felix for his contribution. Be sure to learn more about him and say thanks.

About the artist:

Felix Sockwell is an ornery Texan who honed his skill as a promotional and advertising art director before moving from TX to San Francisco in early 1997, and later co-founded B.I.G., Ogilvy's Brand Integration Group in NYC the following year. In 1999 Sockwell left to build his own practise, concentrating soley on the art and science of identity design and illustration. He frequents NYC to meet and hang out with friends & clients, but prefers Maplewood, New Jersey with his wife and 2 beautiful girls, Brooke and Natalie. Felix is also for hire on the pitch (central midfield/ left wing preferably).

Printing by Josh Higgins.
